About
They/He | 🏳️⚧️ ♿️
Ashley Robin, also known by the online handle Maus, is a disabled, transmasc artist and all around craft maker living in Meanjin/Brisbane, Australia. While they're primarily a digital artist and have been drawing their whole life, they also practice a range of other crafts such as crochet, various types of needlework, sewing, leather work and prop making among many other things. If they come across a craft they haven't tried before, chances are they'll be trying it soon.

Maus is a lover and passionate advocate of rodents but particularly mice and rats. They believes strongly in promoting better education of both the domesticated variety and also those native to Australia, the latter of which are critically under-represented in conservation.
Maus has kept both mice and rats though currently only keeps mice due to health issues making it difficult to maintain two cages. While they adore both species, they consider themselves much more knowledgeable about fancy mice having kept many of different temperaments and health conditions, both adopted from rescues and breeders. They are particularly confident in caring for mice with genetic obesity and mice who are shy or timid whether due to personality or past trauma.
